I was looking for a personalized graduation gift for my niece and, as always, my sister blew me away with her creativity. Together we brainstormed to arrive at a custom piece I know will be cherished for many years to come.

Alicia's skillful flourishes turn a meaningful quote into a work of art.

I'm a visual person, so the design caught my eye first, but as I carefully read the words, the description of a true home resonated with me. It’s then a perfect addition to the Polaroid photos of my hometown that hang above my bed. Ultimately, home is not where I'm from or where I lay my head but in Heaven with the Lord, and this lovely calligraphy piece continually reminds me that.

While planning my wedding, I was overwhelmed by all the details. I wanted to enjoy the beautiful particulars but it's difficult when there is so much to do and consider. Alicia's passion for her craft made it easy to stop and smell the flowers—to enjoy at least this lovely detail! I'm an outlier bride in that I didn't have a clear vision of what I wanted for my wedding flowers. Alicia could have whipped up her own vision apart from me, but she didn't. She worked WITH me, asking questions and showing me pictures. Together we determined what I liked and didn't like. The end result? Just what I wanted. I'll never forget this moment on my wedding day: she walked me down the hall to a table where all the bouquets were waiting. They took my breath away!
